ELP TRAINING PROGRAM

Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) Training and Testing Programs are a mandatory aspect of all pilot training (CPL & PPL). CPL or PPL licences cannot be either issued or renewed without the requisite AELP endorsement from a DGCA-approved Center. Carver Aviation has been a DGCA-approved Training and Testing Centre since 2021 – and has an excellent reputation for employing best practices in the field of training, assessments and standardization. The AELP 30 hours training module is mandatory for all aspiring pilots globally. At Carver Aviation, the training is offered online as well as offline. The course covers aviation specific phonetics, phraseology, pronunciation and comprehension. Meaningful interactions in context to aviation are taught, practised and continually assessed until proficiency is achieved. Scoring is on a scale of 1 to 6 – with the minimum acceptable “passing” score being 4 and the highest score being 6. A score of 3 or less is below standard and the candidate is usually advised to get more intense training and then come back for a retest. All language proficiency guidelines are laid out by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and help define both, the training patterns as well as the test format and assessment criteria.
– AELP Training Program = minimum 30 hours.
– AELP Test centres are in Baramati and Mumbai (satellite Center)
